So I love using these shades for a day time look and they also make me feel soft and pretty. probably because of the pink and I’m not a huge pink fan but it works. Check out how I did this look step by step below!
PLEASE CLICK IMAGES to see a description of the picture and how I did it.
First step, prime your eyelids! This helps keep your makeup lasting all day, think of it as glue. All the products I used for this look were Elf Cosmetics. I love using Elf Cosmetics, they have everything you need in the makeup department, and it’s super affordable.
Apply the primer all over your lid and just under your eye.
I used the gold eyeshadow from this palatte and I usually always just use my finger when applying the first layer.
So apply your gold color all over your lower lid. This area is from your lash line to your crease.
Something like this is how it should look. its okay if you color outside the lines a little bit. Use a Q-tip and gently go over the areas where you went overboard; Don’t worry about getting it all off, the next shade will blend with it.
I use a medium to dark brown for this next step and a small blending brush.
Spread that brown following your natural crease line.
Starting at the corner, with the brown, apply to under your eye following the lash line.
Like so, I know it looks kind of weird at this stage but it will all come together!
So confession….the next shades are actually from my blush and contour palattes and aren’t “eyeshadow,” but I don’t really follow the rules.
I used a small angled brush and applied it just above the brown eyeshadow.
Left side has the dark pink, right eye is without it.
I used the lightest pink from this palate for the next step.
Again, start where the previous color ends and follow the natural curve of your lid.
Also apply, this light pink to under your eye as well, following the lash line.
This is the contour palate from Elf Cosmetics, I use it for eyeshadow and contouring! I’m all about that multi-use!
Apply right under brow following that brow bone.
Apply your eyeliner to your liking.
BOOM! Final look. I added an espresso lipstick to complete the look.
