Quick 45 min. Workout

“I woke up this mornin, I WOKE UP THIS MORNIN!”-Chance The Rapper, Somewhere in Paradise.

So like Chance, I woke up this morning and was feeling blessed to just wake up. I’m trying to bring awareness to the many blessings that surround me on a daily basis and be thankful for them. So today, I was thankful for my blessing of life and wanted to get up and get my body energized and happy. I did this quick workout around my neighborhood, with no weights or equipment necessary. Check it out in the time-lapse below and see the workout detailed after the video!

Workout:

I started with a 3/4 mile jog around where I live and then found a nice pretty spot to finish exercising.

***Do this next part all the way through, and repeat until you have done 3 sets.

  • Squats 15-20 reps
  • Sumo Squats 15-20 reps
  • Alternating Lunges 20 reps
  • Speed Skaters 30 sec.
  • Jump Squats 15-20 reps
  • Standing Side Leg Lift 15-20 reps on each leg
  • Kickbacks 15-20 reps on each leg

YAY you did it!!!!!! Now you have 2 choices and this can really give you a good finish to the workout or you can take it easy. If you can find your inner strength pushing you to keep going then Awesome! Finish it out by running your ass on back that 3/4 of a mile to your house and some water. If you are ready to tap out then keep the pace up but walk home and enjoy the endorphins!
